“Winter Olympics Small Events Art in English”
This refers to the art of depicting various small events from the Winter Olympics in English. 冬奥会小项目英文版绘画
在北京冬奥会进入倒计时之际，我校初中英语组就组织开展了2022年“走进冬奥”英语手抄报大赛，同学们利用寒假时间积极观看各项比赛，查阅各项冰雪运动项目，了解冬奥的相关知识，把对冬奥的这份热情与英语结合起来，精心绘制，形式多样，在冬奥会完美收官之时，我们共收到作品200多份。
19世纪发源于瑞士山区的小城圣莫里茨。第一次钢架雪车俯式冰橇比赛在1884年举行。1887年开始出现类似现在这种俯卧式的姿势。钢架雪车曾于1928年和1948年瑞士圣莫里茨冬奥会上进行过比赛。1948年冬奥会之后，钢架雪车项目被取消，直到2002年的盐湖城冬奥会，钢架雪车才又再度成为冬奥会的比赛项目。

The emblem’s primary colour of blue represents dreams and the future, as well as the purity of ice and snow. The colours of red and yellow, which draw on those of China’s National Flag, represent passion, youth and vigour.
会徽图形上半部分展现滑冰运动员的造型，下半部分表现滑雪运动员的英姿。中间舞动的线条流畅且充满韵律，代表举办地起伏的山峦、赛场、冰雪滑道和节日飘舞的丝带，为会徽增添了节日喜庆的视觉感受，也象征着北京冬奥会将在中国春节期间举行。
